BID to Partner with PotlatchDeltic to Modernize Waldo, AR Lumber Complex
St. George, South Carolina, June 7, 2022 – BID Group is pleased to announce it has received an order from PotlatchDeltic to deliver a plant-wide modernization project at its Waldo, AR operation. The investment will include upgrades to the log yard and planer, a new sawline, and a new continuous dual path dry kiln. Through its industry-leading wood processing technologies and integrated solutions offerings, BID will manage, design, build, equip, and provide full start-up services for the project.

The modernized operation will incorporate BID’s best-in-class wood processing technologies, including equipment, software, automation systems, Artificial intelligence-enabled optimization; and OPER8™, the only purpose-built IIoT solution for the wood processing industry. BID’s Integrated Solutions Team will provide the design, engineering, planning, fabrication, and installation services for this Turnkey project.

Work on site will begin in the third quarter of 2023 and be completed by the end of 2024.
